To get started, do the following after ensuring your computer has a working internet connection.

1. Create a root directory for the analysis results.
2. Create a temp directory to hold temporary files.
3. Start the EggAnalysis program.
4. Select Option/Customize menu item, and browse to the "Data directory" you created in Step 1, the "Temp directory" created in Step 2, and the location of wgnuplot.exe.
5. If you wish, change the "Data Name" in the main window from EggOutput to anything else that can be a valid directory name.
6. Enter start and stop times, e.g., 2004-09-03 05:00:00 and 2004-09-03 09:00:00. This format must be followed precisely.
7. Ensure that "Remote access" is checked.
8. Press "Analyze data".

The "Bytes rcvd" edit box should increment as data is received.
Following analysis, a plot of the Stouffer_Z will pop up if the location of the gnuplot executable was correctly supplied.
Display other variables by selecting the corresponding radio button and pressing "Display".

Change the "Data name", select a different Smoothing Filter, and press "Analyze data" again.

Compare the results of the two analyses.

To display the results of the previous analysis again, drag and drop one of the output files, such as "EggOutput.inf", from Explorer to the main window and use the "Display" button.
