Spicy Asian Tofu (GF, DF, SF, NF, PF, V) |
| 1 Block Extra Firm Tofu 396g/15oz Spice Asian Marinade 2 tblsp reduced sodium soy sauce 1 tblsp rice wine vinegar 1 tblsp sesame oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp fresh ginger spice 1 1/2 tsp red chili paste Sesame seeds as needed |
| INSTRUCTIONS |
| 1. Press extra liquid off tofu. Slice it in centimetre thick slices |
| 2. To make marinate: stir together soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, ginger, chili paste, and sesame seeds in a small dish (or add sesame seeds when cooking). |
| 3. Place tofu in a small dish and pour the marinade over it. Chill and marinate for at least an hour. |
| 4. Heat the grill and remove the tofu from the marinade . |
| 5. Spread the sesame seeds on a plate. Coat the slices in the sesame seeds. |
| 6. Place the tofu on the hot grill and cook for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown. |
| Cook on low setting. Spray grill with vegetable oil. Could also sprinkle on sesame seeds. |
